TherapyPractitioner-led
The most familiar recovery work, done properly
Practitioner-led physiotherapy at both Gayatri AI centres. Dr.
What it is
What Is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy at Gayatri AI is practitioner-led movement and recovery work, delivered by a trained physiotherapist. Sessions blend hands-on techniques (mobilisation, soft-tissue work) with guided exercises that strengthen, stretch, or restore range of motion. We use physiotherapy both as a stand-alone wellness layer and as a regular companion to our device-led therapies.
How it works
Physiotherapy begins with structural assessment: posture, gait, range of motion, strength patterns, and the specific concern that brought you in. From there, sessions combine manual techniques (where indicated), targeted mobility work, and a progressive plan you take home between visits.
We use physiotherapy in two ways at Gayatri AI: as a primary therapy for structural concerns (back, sciatica, postpartum recovery, sports injury) and as a structural counterpart to our device-led sessions (PEMF for circulation and inflammation, Z-100 for cellular balance, NariaTech for pelvic-floor strengthening).
[Practitioner introduction slot]
We do not claim that these sessions treat any medical condition. We use the equipment as its maker designed it. If you want the fuller picture, including where the evidence is thin, read our Science page.
Who this is not for
Physiotherapy delivered by a qualified practitioner with appropriate intake screening is very safe. We adjust intensity, pace, and technique to the individual.
Members with serious medical conditions (recent surgery, fractures, severe cardiac conditions) should bring physician clearance to intake. We coordinate with your treating physician where useful.
What actually happens
First visit: 45 to 60 minutes. Intake conversation, structural assessment, initial treatment, and a written plan with exercises to do between visits.
Follow-up visits: 30 to 45 minutes. Treatment, technique progression, exercise review.
Cadence: weekly through the active phase of a plan, fortnightly as you stabilise, then monthly maintenance for members who want to keep gains.
Questions people ask
- Who runs the physiotherapy sessions?
- A trained, registered physiotherapist who consults at Gayatri AI. Sessions are one-on-one, with no rotating practitioners; you see the same person each visit so the recovery plan stays continuous.
- Will I have to do exercises between sessions?
- Usually yes. Most of the benefit comes from the home programme you carry between visits, not just the session itself. Your physiotherapist sends you a short, specific set of exercises after each session, paced to your stage.
- What conditions does physiotherapy here help with?
- Back pain, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, joint stiffness, sports injuries, postpartum recovery, post-illness deconditioning, and mobility loss. Each programme is tailored to your specific pattern, not a generic protocol.
- How is this different from physiotherapy at a hospital?
- Our physiotherapy sits inside a broader wellness programme, often sequenced alongside PEMF Scalar, cupping, or infrared sauna for layered recovery. The clinical work is the same; the framing and pace are wellness-led, not medical.
- Do I need a doctors referral?
- Not for our wellness physiotherapy. We do recommend speaking to your treating doctor first if you are recovering from surgery, a fracture, or any active medical condition, so we can coordinate sensibly.
- What should I wear to a session?
- Comfortable, stretchy clothes that let you move (loose t-shirt, shorts or tracks). For lower-back or knee work, please bring or wear shorts so the physiotherapist can assess movement properly.
- How quickly will I feel improvement?
- Most members notice meaningful change within 4 to 6 sessions if they keep up with the home exercises. Deeper or older problems take longer. The physiotherapist sets expectations honestly at the first session.
- Is it safe during pregnancy?
- Wellness-led physiotherapy is generally safe during pregnancy, but only with your obstetricians clearance and with techniques modified for each trimester. Please mention pregnancy at intake so the session is adjusted.
This is layered into a plan, not booked on its own
It comes after a Frequency Mapping session, which is where we work out whether it belongs in your plan at all, and what it should sit alongside.
